Caren R. Levine CPA*, CLTC, CFBS is a second-generation financial advisor with MassMutual Greater Philadelphia. She specializes in advising business owners, professionals, and high net worth individuals on their financial and estate planning needs. As of 2015, Caren services over 1,400** clients who collectively have $305 million in life insurance coverage, $1.096 million per month of disability income protection, and $29,317 a day of long-term care benefit. From 2005-2008, and again from 2010-2012 & 2018 she has been recognized as the Advisor of the Year among the 150 advisors in her agency and since 2006 has qualified for the prestigious Top of the Council Award given to the top 100 agents among 5,000 MassMutual advisors nationwide. She has also been recognized by MassMutual as an “Exceptional Level of In-Force” advisor, a measure of her long-term success and dedication.

Caren is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a major in accounting. She began her career with Laventhol & Horwath, where she became a Certified Public Accountant. Given her dual background in accounting and financial planning, she provides a portfolio approach that combines estate analysis and wealth accumulation, with tax saving strategies. Caren prides herself in being a committed resource to her clients and a compassionate advocate for the interest of each family and business that she represents.

Caren believes that financial planning is about economic empowerment and wealth building. She has taken these messages to many audiences, from attorneys at top law firms to young professionals and local students. In fact, Caren has been quoted as a financial expert in respected media outlets such as the “Philadelphia Business Journal” and the “Jewish Exponent.” Caren also holds a strong belief in giving back to the community through volunteer work. She is an active member of the Jewish Family and Children's Service and a committee member of the Cherry Hill Business Council. As a Penn alumna, Caren is a member of Wharton Women and the Penn Alumni Club, planning and attending leadership and cultural events in the Philadelphia area. For over 20 years, Caren has been a prominent innovator, speaker, instructor and facilitator for MassMutual, the financial services industry, and the greater community.

Caren resides in both Cherry Hill and Margate, New Jersey and is the proud mother of three children. Matthew Levine, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, received his J.D. from Temple University's Beasley School of Law. He is in-house Counsel at CrowdStrike. Also a Penn graduate, Meredith Levine Finn is the third-generation in Caren Levine's financial planning practice. She joined the firm after a successful career as an Associate with Spencer Stuart, a global executive search firm. Morgan Roberts, a graduate of Penn State University, is an Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York City. In Caren's free time, she can be found traveling, relaxing at the Shore or spending time with her family and grandchildren. Caren's experience combined with her father's 40+ years with MassMutual offers a multi-generational approach based on family values and superior service.
